Billing and Payment FAQ's
Q: Do you accept insurance?
We currently accept Medicare, CareFirst BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Maryland State Medicaid, Tricare East. We are out of network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Tricare West, which may result in a slightly higher out of pocket responsibility in some cases. If you are insured by a non-participating insurance provider, a receipt for services rendered can be provided upon
request to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Continue to check with us as we add other major insurers in the future.
Q: How do I pay for services?
If you are insured by one of our participating insurance providers, you will be expected to pay your copay at the time of service. You are responsible for covering any remaining balance not covered by your insurance provider
after processing.
If you are uninsured, you may pay for your visit out of pocket. We accept payment by credit card, Zelle, HSA, HRA and FSA. Payments are collected
at the time of visit.
Q: How do you determine my out-of-pocket cost if applicable?
Your out-of-pocket cost and copay amount is determined by your insurer based on the services provided. If you have a high-deductible plan, you may need to meet your deductible before your visit is covered.
It is typical for you to receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company 30-45 days after your visit. This will explain what was covered based on the services rendered during the visit. You may receive a bill from Redicare based on the care provided. The bill amount is determined by your insurance company.
Q: What is the out-of-pocket cost if I do not have insurance?
If you do not have insurance or we do not participate with your insurance provider, we accept a flat rate payment of $75 for a tele-visit and $225 for an in-home visit. The $225 is all inclusive of services provided during your in-home visit including diagnostic testing and minor procedures. The fee does not cover the cost of any third-party providers such as laboratory or
imaging providers. The cost of the visit is due at time of service.
Q: Do you charge the same visit fee for each person if I schedule a home visit for more than one member of my family?
Call us today to speak with a staff member for information on group and family rates
Q: Are vaccinations covered by insurance?
Most insurers – including Medicare and commercial payers – cover Covid-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer), influenza vaccines (such as Flucelvax and Fluad for 65+); however, reimbursement rates vary by insurer and vaccine type. You are responsible for any amount not covered by your insurer.

High Dose flu shot for patients 65 and older is $100.
Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination is $175
Moderna Covid-19 vaccination is $150
